RHP PDFAbout Vedant Poly Fabs
Incorporated in 2018, Vedant Poly Fabs manufactures flexible packaging materials and supplies them directly to business customers across India. Its product portfolio includes 3-layer and 5-layer low-density films, shrink films, barrier films, printed laminates, and milk and oil pouches. These products are mainly used in food, beverages and other consumer packaging applications. The company owns its manufacturing facility at Barasat, West Bengal, spread across approximately 30,354 square feet. The facility has a sanctioned electricity contract demand of 280 KVA from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company. The installed manufacturing capacity increased to 88.5 lakh kg in FY26 from 68.5 lakh kg in FY25 and FY24. Overall capacity utilisation improved to 71.6% in FY26 from 35.7% in FY24. However the utilisation varies across products with lamination at 77.1%, printed plastics at 71.9% and milk film at 35.2% in FY26. The company’s business is predominantly driven by laminations, contributing 59.2% of FY26 revenue, with printed plastic products being the second largest at 31.7%. The company also earned 3.6% of FY26 revenue from trading billets and MS strips. However, this trading activity has now been discontinued. The company supplies its products across several states, although its business remains heavily concentrated in Eastern India. West Bengal alone contributed 96.80% of FY26 revenue and 95.81% of revenue during Q1FY27. The remaining revenue came from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Assam, Odisha and Meghalaya. The company served 245 customers during Q1FY27, compared with 219 customers in FY24. Repeat customers contributed 97.9% of revenue during Q1FY27 and 74.9% in FY26. The company follows a direct sales model and supplies products without involving distributors or agents. The orders are mostly received first through verbal communication, and then by techno-commercial proposals and purchase orders. The raw materials are mostly purchased from West Bengal based suppliers. These include laminating rolls, granules and polyester films. However, procurement is highly concentrated, with Lakhotia Packwell Private Limited accounting for 47.04% of total purchases in FY26.
