About Strength & Risks

Why this IPO looks interesting

Key positives investors may want to consider before applying.

01

Market leadership

Being the market leader in the temperature sensing market in India, the company benefits from having a significant 21.3% market share in the smaller, specialised non-contact temperature sensing products and enjoys pricing power.

02

Product diversification

The near doubling of the number of categories in the products offered over FY20, combined with a project-to-MRO ratio of 67:33, makes for an optimal combination that offers both growth opportunities and recurring revenue.

03

Research & development-driven product innovations

With an R&D team of 83 people that works on the customisation of the products, the company has developed a significant patent portfolio. Fibre optic sensors, aerospace cables and space heaters have been the latest innovations that have taken the company to higher value segments such as aerospace and defence.

What investors should watch closely

Risk factors and possible pressure points around the offer.

01

Business mix concentration

The projects/OEM business segment constitutes 67.5% of FY26 revenue, while metal and petrochemical customers contribute 41.1%, both of which indicate high concentration towards a single cycle, the industrial capex cycle.

02

Risk due to single-site manufacturing facilities

10 out of 15 manufacturing facilities are situated in Udaipur, Rajasthan; thus, any infrastructural, labour or regulatory disturbance can affect all the manufacturing facilities at once.

04

International operations

The firm has increased its international footprint by establishing subsidiaries in the UAE, Germany, and Poland and forming joint ventures in Indonesia and South Korea, shipping to over 80 countries from FY24 to FY26.

05

Integrated manufacturing

Full backward integration and multiple layers of quality control are important for the ability to penetrate into higher-value and regulated end markets like oil & gas and semiconductors.

Constraints on joint ventures' governance

Significant decisions in joint ventures (Indonesia, South Korea, and Pyrosens) require majority/unanimous partner approval, which can affect decision-making with respect to capex, restructuring, or strategy change.

04

Increasing working capital requirements

Inventory days have increased from 125 in FY24 to 170 in FY26, while working capital financing increased from ₹19.78 crore in FY24 to ₹64.35 crore in FY26.

05

Related party transactions and leases

The promoters' companies lease out the registered office and several sales offices, and some of the key facilities in Udaipur are situated on leased lands, leading to renewal and conflict of interest risk.
