About Shah Investor's Home
Shah Investor’s Home, incorporated in October 1994, operates as a retail-focused financial intermediary under the “Shah Investors” brand, facilitating transactions in equities, derivatives, commodities and currencies. The company’s wider offering includes IPO access, mutual-fund and third-party PMS distribution, depository services, margin trading facility (MTF), and securities lending and borrowing. The company commenced NSE stockbroking operations in 1995, registered as an NSDL depository participant in 1997 and subsequently added BSE, derivatives, currency and commodity-market capabilities. Broking is the principal business vertical and generated ₹46.30 crore, or 64.7% of FY26 revenue from operations. Depository services contributed ₹1.19 crore, while interest on margin funding, delayed payments, bank deposits and other sources contributed ₹23.53 crore in aggregate. Broking income includes distribution income. The company’s broking value chain encompasses client acquisition through branches and authorised persons, order execution on NSE, BSE and MCX, settlement support, depository services and funding through MTF. As of March 31, 2026, the company reported 85,422 total clients and 38,189 active clients, while also stating that it had served more than 1,00,000 demat accounts over time. It operated through 11 branches across Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Junagadh, Gandhinagar and Rajkot, supported by 181 authorised persons. Gujarat accounted for 36,720 active clients, or 96.15% of the active base, and 93.74% of FY26 broking income; this provides local franchise depth but creates substantial geographic concentration. There was a growth of 0.9% in active customers, with 27,728 having relationships of more than five years, showing that the organisation had an established customer base. Customer assets amounted to ₹39,458.83 crore. The average broking income is ₹12,124.43 for each active customer. The MTF book increased by 117.4% to reach ₹20.96 crore, with 153.7% collateral coverage and a default rate of 0%, along with mutual funds' assets of ₹54.38 crore. Technology is becoming a key part of the operating model. As of March 31, 2026, the SIHL Moneymaker app had 12,452 trading clients and 33,287 downloads. The SIHL Fundspro allows you to invest in mutual funds through technology. Broking income earned through digital mediums rose from 17.6% of total broking income in FY24 to 42.6% in FY26. In addition, the firm created its own ERP and also introduced ALGOFY, an API-enabled algorithmic trading platform. The in-house algo trading platform got approval from NSE in August 2026, whereas the application for BSE was still being processed. India’s broking industry is estimated at approximately ₹0.52 lakh crore in FY25 and forecasts a 16% to 18% CAGR over the following two to three years, supported by financial literacy, lower investing costs and digital access. Equity trading in India is still at a nascent stage, with only 4% to 5% of the population actively participating, indicating that there is scope for growth. As of September 3, 2025, SEBI had around 4,900 equity brokers registered. Shah Investor’s Home can participate through its established retail franchise, physical distribution network and growing digital-execution share, but the opportunity is moderated by fee pressure, intense competition and its concentrated western-India footprint. Industry growth is also broadening beyond transactional broking. India’s MTF book reached approximately ₹0.88 lakh crore in June 2025, while mutual-fund AUM reached ₹65.7 lakh crore in March 2025; retail mutual-fund AUM grew at a 34% CAGR during FY20-FY25. Proposed IPO funding of ₹60 crore for working capital is intended partly to support MTF expansion, while its active-client base provides a cross-selling pool for distribution, AIF and other fee-based products. Participation in these trends depends on disciplined credit, liquidity and regulatory risk management rather than industry growth alone. Now, Shah Investor's Home is launching its initial public offering (IPO), which consists of a fresh issue of ₹90.17 crore. Its shares will be listed on NSE and BSE. ### **How to apply for Shah Investor's Home IPO?** If you are interested in this investment opportunity but unsure how to apply for a Shah Investor's Home IPO, follow these steps.
