About Strength & Risks

Why this IPO looks interesting

Key positives investors may want to consider before applying.

01

Large and increasingly monetised user base

Registered users grew at a CAGR of 26.92% to 13.41 crore during FY24-FY26, while monetised users grew from 46.2 lakhs to 1.08 crore. By June 2026, the monetisation level was 8.48%, leaving room for additional conversion from the current base.

02

Strong repeat engagement

Repeat AUM increased from 42.08% in FY24 to 60.86% in FY26 and 62.70% in June 2026. This signals growing repeat borrowing and can underpin lifetime value without commensurate customer-acquisition expenditure.

03

Data-led risk segmentation

In-house AI/ML models analyse more than 100,000 variables and can differentiate risk within similar bureau-score cohorts. Annualised losses improved from 7.9% in FY24 to 6.9% in FY26 and 6.9% in Q1FY27.

04

Scalable digital operating model

The platform covered 99.04% of Indian PIN codes and handled over 200,000 loan applications per day, with typical loan offers in five seconds. Q1FY27: Operating expenses as a percentage of total income fell to 34.14% from 56.42% in FY24.

05

Diversified capital and partner network

Moneyview had 48 financial partners, including 22 personal-loan regulated entities, while WFPL had 50 debt partners, including 17 banks, and more than 100 debt-security holders. This supports a mix of partner-funded and own-book lending.

06

Favourable digital-credit runway

Digital personal loans are projected to grow at 26–27% CAGR during FY26–FY31. Moneyview’s 10.5% share of FY26 digital unsecured personal-loan sanctions, Tier 2 and beyond reach and expanding product suite position it to participate in this growth, subject to execution and credit discipline.

What investors should watch closely

Risk factors and possible pressure points around the offer.

01

Credit-loss and DLG exposure

Impairment expense increased to ₹983.53 crore in FY26 and stood at 5.16% of average Managed AUM. As on 30th June 2026, DLG exposure was ₹1,060.78 crore or 43.92% of net worth. If more borrowers default, WFPL provisions and Moneyview’s DLG expense would likely rise.

02

Rising Stage 3 loans

WFPL’s Gross Stage 3 ratio rose to 2.74% in FY26 from 0.94% in FY24 and stood at 2.72% in June 2026. Its loans are unsecured, so there is no realisable collateral in case of default.

03

Partner and fee-income dependence

The top ten financial partners generated 37.36% of FY26 revenue from operations. Fees and commission income represented 56.68% of FY26 operating revenue; partner exits, lower volumes or fee renegotiation could therefore affect earnings.

04

Regulatory and data-protection exposure

Moneyview operates within RBI digital-lending, DLG, insurance-distribution, UPI and NBFC frameworks. Interpretation changes could restrict workflows or increase compliance costs. Non-compliance with data protection could also lead to penalties of up to ₹250.00 crore.

05

Technology and cybersecurity risk

Operations depend on continuous availability of one cloud-service provider. In FY26, a cyber incident at WFPL resulted in a pre-tax loss of ₹46.65 crore, although the core systems and customer-facing operations were not impacted.
