About Strength & Risks

Why this IPO looks interesting

Key positives investors may want to consider before applying.

01

Asset-light business model

With ownership of only 3 of 61 stores, the company maintains 95% of its stores on a leased and licensed basis, and has reduced its expenditure on store ownership. The operational flexibility allows the company to own fewer stores.

02

Strategic focus on high-growth tier 2&3 market

In FY26, 60.25% of the company's total sales came from 45 out of 61 stores, which were either in or near Tier II or Tier III cities. The company has strategically positioned itself for growth in markets that are more price sensitive with minimal competition from premium brands.

03

Highest customer advances

At ₹5,042.75 crore (20.15% of revenue) and ₹3,145.41 crore (18.61% of revenue) in FY26 and FY25 respectively, the company's customer advances are the highest amongst key organized players in the Indian jewellery industry.

What investors should watch closely

Risk factors and possible pressure points around the offer.

01

High dependence on gold jewellery

Gold jewellery contributed 92.3% of revenue in FY26, making the company highly susceptible to gold price fluctuations, import duties, consumer spending and demand for gold jewellery.

02

Weak operating cash conversion

Operating cash flow turned negative at ₹397.76 crore in FY26, compared to positive ₹288.73 crore in FY25, primarily driven by higher working capital requirements and inventory build-up in the face of higher and volatile gold prices.
