About Strength & Risks

Why this IPO looks interesting

Key positives investors may want to consider before applying.

01

Established operating history

The business commenced operations in 1974. Promoter Abhishek Jindal has been associated with it since 2007 and has over 18 years of experience in MS black and galvanised pipes and tubes.

02

Exposure to infrastructure demand

Pipes, crash barriers and tubular poles serve water supply, construction, roads, agriculture and electrification. The infrastructure development, water and irrigation programmes, and industrial investment are demand drivers for steel pipes and tubes.

03

Introduction of new products

Production of crash barriers started in April 2024, while that of tubular pole in April 2025. These contributed ₹117.70 crore and ₹31.49 crore of revenues for FY26, respectively, providing an additional range of products in the areas of highway safety and utility infrastructure.

What investors should watch closely

Risk factors and possible pressure points around the offer.

01

Single-site operations

Manufacturing is solely done at Hisar, exposing production to machinery failures, utility disruptions and adverse local events.

02

Raw material price volatility

Major raw materials are MS coils, hot-rolled coils and galvanised materials. The cost of obtaining these materials was 93.21% of total expenses for FY26. The effects of input costs on production costs and margins can be huge.

04

Capacity expansion

Crash barrier capacity enhanced to 42,000 MTPA from 24,000 MTPA at a cost of ₹5.45 crore till 30th July 2026. With the installation of a new galvanising plant, the capacity has been enhanced to 63,000 MTPA at a cost of ₹1.73 crore.

05

Expansion of dealer network

The number of active dealers increased from 34 in FY24 to 53 in FY26. Channel accounted for 31.82% of FY26 operating revenue, while direct sales contributed 68.18%. The company is planning to expand its presence to previously unexploited locations such as Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

06

Manufacturing and testing on-site

The Hisar facility includes pipe mills, welding, and galvanisation plants, along with the maintenance and testing infrastructure, which includes hydrostatic and non-destructive tests. Proximity to customers' facilities facilitates efficient logistics and timely delivery of customised products

Supplier concentration

The top ten suppliers comprised 76.23% and 72.31% of purchases in FY26 and Q1 FY27, respectively. Delays, shortages or loss of a key supplier may disrupt production or necessitate replacement material at less favourable cost and delivery terms.

04

Overreliance on key pipe types

Black pipes provided 42.98% and galvanised pipes 26.57% of FY26 operating revenue. Although diversifying to crash barriers and poles, the company forecasts that these types of products will be among the company’s key sources of revenue, thus leaving performance vulnerable to changes in demand and competition in its core products.

05

Revenue geographical concentration

Haryana provided 28.5% of FY26 operating revenue and 24.1% in Q1FY27. Regional demand changes, purchasing policy or government policy may affect revenue and cash flow.

06

Over-reliance on repeat customer orders

The top ten customers represented 20.32% of FY26 operating revenue and 24.09% in Q1FY27. Historical relationships guarantee neither repeat nor similar purchase volumes at comparable prices.

07

Working capital needs and cash conversion

Working-capital needs rose to ₹131.47 crore in FY26 from ₹91.01 crore in FY25. Cash flow from operations was negative ₹5.69 crore in FY24. Inventory and receivables require continued funding, which can limit cash availability.

08

Competition and non-exclusive dealers

Some competitors may have greater financial resources and wider distribution. The company has no long-term dealer contracts and generally no exclusive dealer arrangements. Better competitor incentives, dealer losses or difficulty adding dealers could constrain the planned expansion in sales coverage.
